Odyssey: School Picnic

Picnic is an eagerly awaited event, bringing teachers together from various disciplines for a day of relaxation. Camaraderie and spirited games held in a scenic outdoor location, the picnic serves as a much-needed break from the demands of the class
room, noise and disturbances of the students, fostering a sense of community among the faculty.
This year’s venue was Debjharan. On that day, as the teachers arrived at the school,the buses were kept ready and everyone greeted each other with warm wishes and the promise of a day filled with laughter and enjoyment. After reaching the destination, the picnic kicks off with breakfast spread, allowing everyone to fuel up for the day ahead. Teachers moved for the sightseeing as the place was full of greenery and the musical rhythm of the water falls. Photos were clicked. The games began from the classic favorites like housie, musical chairs to more unconventional challenges suchas hoola-hoops and marble races. There was something for everyone to participate in.Cheers and encouragement echoing throughout the picnic ground. Amidst the excitement of games, there were plenty of opportunities for relaxation and socializing. Picnic blankets and chairs were spread out under the shades providing a tranquil
setting for teachers to enjoy a leisurely lunch together. By such types of activities bonds were strengthened and friends were forged creating a supportive network within the school community.
As the day drew to a close, hearts were brimming with memories and stomachs were full of laughter. Teachers bade farewell to each other, looking forward to next year and gathering.The school teachers’ picnic was not just a day of relaxation, but a celebration of thehard work and dedication that defines the teaching profession.
