1ST APRIL 2026 - GRATIFARE: A HEARTFELT FAREWELL

The day also carried an emotional undertone as the school community gathered to express gratitude and bid farewell to two cherished members of the Josephite family.

A warm farewell was extended to Mrs. Ruby Sarangi, marking the conclusion of her remarkable teaching career. In recognition of her 26 years of dedicated service, she was honoured with a shawl and a memento. Her unwavering commitment to teaching, guiding, and inspiring students was deeply appreciated. Students expressed their gratitude through heartfelt notes, speeches, prayers, and floral tributes. Through songs and dances, they conveyed their affection and admiration, ensuring that her legacy as a devoted educator will always be remembered.

The school also bid farewell to Mr. Aloish Kerketta, the Science Laboratory Assistant, who retired after 35 years of sincere and dedicated service. He was honoured with a shawl and a memento as a token of appreciation for his honesty, hard work, loyalty, and affection towards the institution. Fondly known as “Aloish Bhaiya” by students and staff alike, he has been a warm and approachable presence in the school.

His disciplined approach in the laboratories, especially in the Chemistry lab, ensured effective learning and safety for students. During his farewell speech, he expressed his joy and gratitude for being part of the school community. In a delightful and unexpected moment, he sang a song about cherishing memories and meeting again in the future, leaving everyone touched and smiling.

Students and teachers acknowledged his invaluable support behind the scenes, which made every science practical session meaningful and enriching.
