In honour of the Republic: Saluting the Constitution of India

Saluting the Constitution of India at St Joseph Convent Higher secondary school Sambalpur was a vibrant and patriotic event. It was celebrated on 26th January. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by our Chief guest, the Principal of Kindergarten Reverend Sister Dolorita accompanied by the singing of the national anthem by the students and teachers. A colorful parade featuring the students of different Houses of school mesmerized the audience. The rhythmic beat of drums and synchronized movements showcased the discipline and process of the participants. A vibrant cultural program was organized showcasing the rich diversity of India through dance performance of English and Odia medium students. The kindergarten children presented the speech of different political leaders in their respective costumes.
Embracing the essence of Republic Day the students delivered speeches in English, Hindi and Odia highlighting the significance of the Republic Day. The conclusion of the event was with the message by the honorable Chief Guest on the achievements and challenges of our nation and our commitment to upholding the principles of democracy.
