On 1st August 2023 our School hosted the regional level games for Chess & Carrom tournament by CISCE board. 8 zones from Odisha state participated in the regional level tournament. In all, there were 224 students who participated from all Odisha ICSE schools. The judges for these two events were the officials from Sambalpur Carrom and Chess Association.
The event began from 8 AM and got over by 7PM. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the august presence of Sr P Selvi (Secretary- Treasurer of AOICSE Schools.) The two events were conducted simultaneously under the scrutiny of distinguished judges of carrom and Chess Association Sambalpur. The closing ceremony was graced by the
august presence of Sambalpur’s District Collector IAS M/s Annanya Das. The day ended with happy faces of winners who carried the trophies to their respective schools.
